David Andrews Rogers  
David Andrews Rogers' extensive credits in Musical Theatre include a year as Music Director and Conductor for the Broadway National Tour of Les Miserables. David was also Music Director and Conductor for Harold Prince's Broadway-North American Tour of ShowBoat where he had the pleasure of conducting Cloris Leachman, Dean Jones, Tom Bosley, Pat Harrington, Anita Gillette and Debbie de Coudreaux.

David's most recent credits include being Musical Supervisor and Conductor for the world premiere of Dorian at the Denver Center Theatre. His other conducting credits include a year with the Broadway National Tour of Harold Prince's The Phantom of the Opera, and Musical Supervision of a critically-acclaimed new production of Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones' The Fantasticks at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C.

David was also Music Director and Conductor for the star-studded 32-city national tour of Heart Strings. His work with that show was included in the ABC-TV prime-time special In a New Light which featured David conducting for numerous guest stars including Patti LuPone, Joel Grey and Nell Carter.

In New York, David was Musical Supervisor for the Off-Broadway world premiere of The Vocal Lords at The Theatre at St. Clements, and for the Lyrics and Lyricists series productions of The British Invasion (in 2002) and their Tribute to Alan Jay Lerner (starring Kitty Carlisle Hart and Charles Strouse in 2001).

Also in New York David was Musical Director for Celebrate Cy (starring Robert Morse, Walter Bobbie, Karen Ziemba and many others), Just For Tonight (starring Mackenzie Phillips at Town Hall), and Puttin' on the Ritz (starring Carol Lawrence). In the New York area, David was Music Director and Conductor for Westchester Broadway Theatre's hit productions of Jekyll & Hyde, Guys and Dolls and their recent premiere regional production of the Broadway phenomenon, Cats.

In addition, David has written and produced numerous musical revues and nightclub acts, and was awarded the Manhattan Association of Cabarets "MAC" Award and a Bistro Award for his work in New York City cabarets. He has been Music Director and Conductor for over 100 musicals and musical revues in stock and regional theatre, and he has been on the faculty of the Performing Artists' Musical Theatre Conservatory in Dallas and of New York's American Musical and Dramatic Academy. In addition, he has spent over 20 years as a Musical Theatre Vocal Coach. Originally from Texas, David was educated at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and at Queen's College, Oxford University, England, and currently makes his home in New York City.
